LOVERS of local produce flocked to Evesham on Sunday to enjoy the town’s third food festival.
The event, run by Transition Evesham Vale, was a great success and organisers said the range and diversity of the food was amazing.
The event was staged alongside the Morris Festival taking place in Evesham at the same time as part of the Mega Weekend, meaning large numbers of people passing through the town were able to sample the best of Vale food and drink.
Stephen Martin, chairman of the organising committee, said: “Both festivals aim to celebrate the variety of food and cultural traditions of rural England and reinforce many of the objectives of the Transition movement.”
