COMMUNITY groups are being urged to put all their energy into saving residents money on home insulation.
Wychavon District Council wants groups to find 20 willing households who would be able to access a slice of £3 million in Government funding. The work open to the volunteers would include external wall insulation for solid wall homes or cavity wall insulation for homes with narrow cavities or off-mains gas properties.
The funding also includes properties that cannot receive standard cavity wall insulation.
The council is working with Worcestershire County Council and Act on Energy to process the applications, which have to be submitted by September.
