Teenager went on violent rampage
12:50pm Sunday 8th September 2013 in News
A TEENAGER went on a violent rampage, destroying garden ornaments and wielding a knife, as well as launching racial slurs at a police officer, a court heard.
George Loveridge, aged 18, pleaded guilty to five charges at Worcester Crown Court, including threatening unlawful violence, having a knife in public in Stratford Road, Evesham, on May 1, and racially aggravated abuse towards an officer.
The other two charges were of criminal damage along the same road on that day, where he destroyed a light fitting and a garden gate belonging to Rooftop Housing, along with a garden ornament belonging to one of the residents.
Loveridge had previously been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and the case was adjourned so Loveridge, who lives with his grandmother in Warndon, Worcester, can have psychiatric reports prepared ahead of his sentence on October 22.
He was granted conditional bail until that hearing.
