Tea party aids a worthy cause
4:00pm Thursday 12th September 2013 in News
CUPPAS and cakes will be on offer at a vintage tea party where guests will be raising money for breast cancer care.
Ellie Sullivan, aged 25, from Badsey was inspired to organise the event after a family member was affected by cancer.
The fund-raiser will have more than 25 stalls, along with a raffle and is being held at Evesham United Football Club, Cheltenham Road, on Sunday, October 6 from 1pm – 4pm. One of the main attractions on the day will be a visit by fashion designer George Davies, known for his work with Next, George at Asda and Per Una, who will judge a bra design competition.
Anyone who would like to enter the competition is asked to decorate or creatively adorn a bra at home and bring it along to the event to be judged.
The winner will be awarded with a prize.
