A FATHER will get an electronically tagged curfew instead of having to do unpaid work so he can spend more time with his children.
Phillip Biddle, aged 37, of Pendas Meadow, Pinvin, near Pershore, was resentenced on Thursday at Worcester Magistrates Court and given a 12-week curfew which will be electronically monitored.
Biddle has to be indoors between 7pm and 7am daily.
Biddle, who represented himself, said: “I was trying to do the extra work but I couldn’t do it with looking after the kids.”
He was given a six-month community order with a 12-week curfew requirement.
He had failed to attend an unpaid work appointment on April 10 “on the grounds that the current order is unworkable”.
