Friends bare all to raise funds in Diana’s memory

A GROUP of friends are baring it all for a ‘wonderful’ woman who was tragically taken from them last year, by launching a cheeky calendar in her memory.
Diana Burgess, aged 40, from Hampton, died in a road traffic collision on October 16 last year and as the first anniversary of her death approaches, her numerous friends have come together to appear in a fund-raising nude calendar.
In Full Bloom 2014 will be available from Tuesday for £10 and money raised will go towards a handmade, memorial storyteller chair to be located at Mrs Burgess’ favourite playground for her three daughters Hannah, Eva and Emma.
Mrs Burgess’ love of high heels, specifically red ones, are a main feature of the black and white calendar as the shoes are the only part of the photograph in colour.
Friend Sally Mothersole said: “A spare pair of these high heels are always featured and signify that someone is missing but she'll always be present.
“Diana was a truly wonderful wife, mother, friend and neighbour. Nothing will ever bring her back to us. We just hope she has been watching us from above and given her a really good giggle while raising funds for her very special family.”
Diana’s husband Kevin has also expressed his feelings in the calendar. “Diana was a vibrant and passionate woman who lived life to the full.
“A passionate, determined and fun-loving woman with an infectious laugh. Never to be deterred or beaten once she set her mind to something, a woman of almost limitless capabilities.”
