AN appeal hearing took place this week as developer Redrow Homes seeks permission to build 42 homes in Pershore.
The controversial application is now at the second stage of the planning process, having only been given approval at the first stage during appeal.
If successful the homes will be built on open land at Allesborough Farm, Allesborough Hill, but they have faced rejection at every turn from Wychavon District Council’s planning committee.
The proposals last faced the committee in July when Councillor Val Wood said: “This is a truly horrible design. It is an urban development in a rural setting.”
A decision is expected from the inspectorate in the next five weeks.
