BIDFORD’S village plan is a step closer to being put into place after an application for the designation of a neighbourhood area was submitted.
The neighbourhood plan moved on a stage after the proposal, by Bidford Parish Council, was sent into Stratford District Council.
The next stage sees members of the public being asked to have their say on the plans before the district council makes a decision.
If the designation of the neighbourhood area is agreed, local people can put together a neighbourhood plan setting out how they would like the area to develop in the future.
A copy of the application and a map can be viewed at stratford.gov.uk/nplan or at Stratford District Council’s offices, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratfordupon- Avon, and also at Bidford and Stratford librarys during normal opening hours.
The consultation period began last Thursday and the deadline is 5pm on Friday, January 17.
