UPDATE: A SIGNALLING problem between Worcester Shrub Hill station and Great Malvern has been resolved.

All lines have been reopened following the issue and services should be returned to normal.

THERE are delays on First Great Western trains between Gloucester and Great Malvern and London Midland trains between Birmingham New Street and Hereford.

This is due to signalling problems between Worcester Shrub Hill and Great Malvern where all lines are blocked.

The incident took place at 3.19pm.

Why aren't they made to have a PLAN B?.
With todays technology available, It is just a cop off to stop the trains sometimes for hours, and I realise that when trains collide that many could get injured, but I am talking about a safe secure Plan B backup system.
