SCHOOLCHILDREN did their bit for the fight against cancer by hosting a coffee morning for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Key stage two students at Sedgeberrow First CE School, Evesham, baked cakes, took orders and welcomed those that came with a smile during their first coffee morning.
A MacMillan representative visited the school and spoke to the children about the work the charity does and how the £370 they raised will be spent.
Nicole Loannides, a year four teacher, said: “We were overwhelmed with the turnout and the generosity of everyone who attended.
“The children all enjoyed being a part of such a wonderful event and are looking forward to their next coffee morning.”
