PARENTS in Worcestershire with children due to start school in September 2014 are being reminded the deadline for applying for a place is fast approaching.
Applications for primary school places through Worcestershire County Council close on Wednesday, January 15, and can be made online or at county libraries.
Mark Ballett, senior mainstream admissions officer at the county council, urged parents to get their applications in – and said the online system at worcestershire.
gov.uk/schooladmissions was the fastest way to do so.
“The online process is not only speedier, but also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which means parents can get together at their leisure to make their preference of schools,” he said.
