A RAFT of burglaries in Evesham and its surrounding villages have sparked a police investigation.

Between 7pm-9pm on Wednesday, January 8 burglars entered a house in Battleton Road, Evesham and stole two Sony Play Station 3 consoles, a diamond engagement ring, another ring, fishing equipment and about £140.

Anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously or has been offered any items resembling those listed is asked to contact Evesham police on 101 quoting incident number 0570s 080114.

Between 4pm on Saturday, January 4 and 10am on Thursday, January 9 burglars forced a window at a property in Three Cocks Lane, Offenham.

Two Apple iPods worth £200, a Canon camera valued at £350, two black docking stations costing around £120 and a DAB Acoustic Solutions radio valued at £40 were taken.

Anyone with information is asked to call Worcester CID on 101 quoting incident number 171s 090114.

Thirdly, burglars entered a house in Washington Road, Wickhamford between 5pm on Wednesday, January 8 and 9am on Thursday, January 9 by smashing a rear patio door.

They left the property messy but it is not known if anything was taken.

Detective Constable Ian Wright said: “We would ask people in the Evesham area to be particularly vigilant and contact us immediately if they see or hear anything unusual in their neighbourhood.”
