A PERSHORE store had a special visit from one of its bosses, who pitched in to help customers Christmas shopping.
Bob Burlton, chairman of the Co-Operative group, visited the Pershore supermarket and rolled up his sleeves on the shop floor.
He visited the store during what is the busiest time of the year and helped stack shelves and pack customers' bags.
He said: "This is a really busy period for the stores and our dedicated staff often work longer hours than usual. To support them, many of our head office colleagues have been volunteering to work in the stores and help out with the pre-Christmas rush. It's been good to get on the shop floor and give the staff a helping hand."
