THE heat was on in the kitchen at Evesham High School as 25 budding young chefs battled it out for the title of Masterchef champion.
The school has held an inter-house Masterchef competition at which pupils worked through a series of heats to produce ‘healthy packed lunches’ and ‘exciting burgers’ with the finalists having to come up with “a meal for someone special”.
Evesham Rotary supported the event by providing judges, prizes, funds towards ingredients and chefs hats.
The winners were Harry Charnley and Matthew Andrew, with Alicia Cole and Leia Woodcock in second place. Natasha Byrd and Erin Curtis came third and in fourth place were Stephanie Atkins and Ellie Smout.
