With more and more cuts coming from these Toties the police attending should perhaps take the opportunity to put their names down for a job?

Anyone who is currently on the dole will know the horror of signing on. They use any excuse to stop claimants money, then payments are suspended for ages.
If there is trouble in the jobcentres it is hardly surprising, made to feel like a 3rd class citizen no matter how you come to be in that position. I got chucked out for being a cheeky monkey and had to sign on postal. I wasnt abusive just had the temerity to remind them they are there so serve the public and not tell us we are liars, which is what they did to me ..then denied they had done so... Anyway I no longer have to deal with the horrible institution.... not all staff are bad but some are pretty unpleasant .

Yep- I have respectable friends who have had similar experiences with the staff for no reason at all.
Perhaps they are in the wrong job?

Arthur Blenkinsop no its the Worcester County Council again,

brooksider, Unsubstansiated tittle tattle You have no idea, it is 100% fact, i work in amongst it all.

I only put up comment on fact or my experience.

Its not a nice experience turning up for work not knowing who will be out when all the top managers who mostly are poor at the job are still there at taxpayers costs.

There is no doubt that some staff in the job center have an attitude but so do some of the customers either way whenever i have been in assisting someone its not a place to look forward to.

I have recently been made redundant and have had my first experience of the jobcentre. I found the adviser that I had very helpful. You have to treat people with respect to get respect back. Still, early days yet.
