PERSHORE'S Mayor held a fundraising coffee morning on Saturday, (January 18) in aid of the town's carnival.
Councillor Charles Tucker hosted the event at the town hall during the morning and raised £128 towards the popular carnival.
There was also a name the doll competition, won by Pauline Colloby.
He said: "This was the fourth of my 2013 and 2014 coffee mornings. Between them, they have raised nearly £1300 for local causes.”
The next coffee morning will be held in aid of the children of Chernobyl on Saturday, February 1, from 10am at the town hall.
