CAMPAIGNERS against controversial plans to build a chicken farm near Upton Snodsbury have been continuing their fight.
Local residents formed the Wychavon Parishes Action Group to oppose the plans and have been putting up ribbons and banners to highlight their objection.
Mike Rowe, of the group, said: "We believe the planning inspector conducting the appeal has visited the sight on Tuesday. The community have put up some ribbons and some banners to highlight objection to the chicken farm as banners we had previously put up were stolen in October."
Wychavon District Council’s planning committee rejected the plans to house 80,000 chickens in a broiler farm on land north east of Froghall Bungalow, Naunton Road, on October 10.
