TWO new councillors have been co-opted onto Broadway Parish Council.
At the latest meeting in January Wychavon District Councillor Barrie Parmenter and local resident Antony Holmes joined the committee for the first time as parish councillors.
In total the council received eight applications and clerk, Kevin Beasley, said the other members were very pleased by the interest shown.
The next opportunity for residents to join the parish council will be in May next year and the unsuccessful applicants were encouraged to reapply then along with anyone else who is interested.
