IT is not every day that school pupils get to fly to Paris for the afternoon but Mickleton Primary made an exception as part of their French studies.
Youngsters in Year 1 and 2 were flown to Paris for the afternoon by professional Pilot, Tim Hayward and cabin crew.
Once they had touched down the children took part in a range of Parisienne themed activities including the opportunity to order their favourite foods in French from a café, draw their own Mona Lisa and have their photograph taken in front of the Eifel Tower.
Head Teacher Adrian Webb said "This was a great opportunity for pupils to put into practice their French language skills they have been learning in the classroom and to learn more about France through a range of interesting and interactive activities."
