MORE villages in the Vale are set to benefit from superfast broadband programme.

Welford-on-Avon and Long Marston have been announced as some of the first places set to get the faster connection as part of the multi-million pound partnership between BT and Warwickshire County Council.

From spring this year, superfast fibre-based broadband will start to become available for the first time in parts of Long Marston and Welford-on-Avon.

The project will build on BT’s on-going commercial investment in fibre across the area.

The CSW Broadband partnership ensures premises in the project area have access to superfast broadband with download speeds of up to 80 megabits per second and uploads of up to 20 megabits per second.
