FAMILIES will be able to enjoy the landscape around Croome park this half term as the National Trust site hold events all through the holidays.

Visitors will be able to step into the shoes of Croome’s famous landscape gardener, Capability Brown, and follow his clues around the parkland on the landscape detective quest trail, near Pershore.

Becky Wilks, visitor services assistant, said: "This is going to be a really creative trail around the shrubberies, temples, follies and lakeside at Croome.

"Brown planned everything at Croome with careful consideration. This fun trail that children will follow takes them on a journey around the grounds to look at the landscape through picture frames and create their very own landscape design."

Trail clues will lead families to viewpoints and using the frames they will encounter create their own design, with a prize to collect at the end.

The event will run every day from Saturday, February 15, until Sunday, February 23, between 10am and 4.30pm and entry is £1.50 including a prize.
