THE Met Office has issued a weather warning on roads across the county as more heavy rainfall is expected in the coming days.

The warning is expected to last until shortly before midnight on Tuesday, February 11.

Last night more heavy storms battered Worcester and this latest warning means the county council see more flooding as the already saturated ground is unable to cope with further rain.

Roads across the county are closed as a result of flooding, these include the Jubilee Bridge in Fladbury, the Eckington Bridge, near Pershore, Station Road in Hinton, Waterside in Evesham and the temporary footbridge off the Abbey Road, Hylton Road in Worcester, Stourport Road, Bewdley, New Street and Hanley Road in Upton, Shell Ford between Bradley Green to Himbleton and the Walcot Ford between Pershore and Drakes Broughton.

There is also disruption to bus services. To find out which routes are affected visit worcestershire.gov.uk.
