A HISTORIC Vale hotel officially opened its new events venue this month.
The Orangery at the Wood Norton hotel was opened by Evesham's mayor councillor Mark Goodge on Thursday, February 6, at a champagne reception in the venue.
Glasses were raised to mark the birth of the new £1 million events space, which has been purpose built with weddings, conferences, and other special events in mind.
Craig Webb, general manager of the hotel, said: "We’re absolutely thrilled with the turnout, and interest in our new venue.
"It was a great night, and a real honour to have the Mayor of Evesham with us. I’m looking forward to welcoming everybody back, and playing host to a whole load of weddings, conferences, and special events throughout year."
The first big event to take place in the new venue is a special Valentines Dinner Dance taking place this Saturday (February 15).
