RESIDENTS at a Malvern care home did their bit for the British Heart Foundation by dressing up in red.
The Hastings Residential Care Home, in Barnards Green, joined the nation to support the charity’s Ramp up the Red event.
For a small donation, the team and residents raided their wardrobes for their finest crimson attire and enjoyed a coffee morning, where they relaxed over a cuppa and cake. They raised a total of £40 for the charity.
Sue Milward, manager of the Sanctuary home, said: “We all know someone who has had heart disease, so this is a charity which is close to all our hearts.”
