A FAMILY run hotel in the centre of Evesham famous for its unique style has welcomed new faces set to take over the running of the business.
The Evesham Hotel, in Cooper's Lane, has welcomed three new team members as owners John and Sue Jenkinson take a step back from the day to day running.
The new staff include former Dormy House general manager David Field, head chef Paul Napper and reservations and events manager Katie Nightingale.
Mr Jenkinson, 65, said: "Sue and I love the hotel but felt now was the right time to take a step back and try something new. We searched long and hard to find the right people for the job and I'm thrilled David, Paul and Katie have joined us. We're very excited to see what they will bring to the hotel."
The Evesham Hotel has been an important staple in the town since the Jenkinson family bought it in 1975 and is known locally for its unique personality, decor and interesting toilets.
New general manager David Field said: "The hotel is a hidden gem in the town, whether you pop in for lunch or visit overnight you're guaranteed a stay to remember.
"Paul, Katie and I are looking forward to working closely with the existing team on some new ideas. We’re already working on a new menu in the restaurant, including enhancing our popular buffet lunch offering, and can't wait to welcome people to experience the next chapter of The Evesham Hotel.”
