AN animal sanctuary charity that opened its first shop in Evesham last year is appealing for help from the town's residents.
The Sambourne Donkey Sanctuary, which launched in 1994, opened its shop in the former curtain shop in Mostyns Units, Avon Street.
The huge 8,000sq ft shop sells second-hand homeware including traditional and pine furniture, white goods, bric-a-brac, CDs, records and new and second- hand beds.
But manager Caroline Green says they need donations and support from local people.
Anyone is welcome to bring their donations along and the shop is opening from 10.30am to 5pm, Monday to Saturdays.
To contact the shop call 01386 424666.
