ENVIRONMENTAL groups in Herefordshire are getting together to mark Climate Week.
From Monday to Sunday, March 3-9, they will be staging events throughout the county and members of the public will be invited to write their views and feelings on these issues in a 'climate conversation' book during a week-long display in All Saints Church, High Street, Hereford.
The book will later be presented to the county's MPs and Herefordshire Council.
Concern Universal is organising an all day event on climate change for schools and a public event with guest speakers on Tuesday, March 4 in St Johns Church Hall, St Owen Street, Hereford, and films on environmental issues will be shown in county venues.
The week will culminate with a climate change march through Hereford, starting from Hereford Leisure Pool, St Martin's Avenue, at 11.30am and finishing in High Town with music and speakers.
