NEW businesses in the Stratford district can get a helping hand by signing up to free half-day start-up workshops.

Stratford District Council has teamed up with the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce to offer support to new business entrepreneurs.

The workshops are designed to help entrepreneurs convert their ideas into reality and are relevant to anybody wanting to start their own business, whatever its type or size.

The Stratford-based workshops begin in April and will cover all aspects of starting a new business from personal skills, financial commitments and legal issues to business plans and business structure.

Participants will also have the opportunity to see an experienced and qualified business advisor for one to one support throughout their start up journey.

The monthly workshops take place at the District Council’s headquarters in Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford with the first one taking place on Tuesday, April 8.
