REST and relaxation is just a moment away at a newly revamped and expanded Vale beauty salon.

The Beauty Barn, at Craycombe Farm, near Fladbury, reopened this weekend after undergoing a new look that sees the business expand into a former gym.

It has also got a new name, as the business was formerly known as Heavenly Bodies Beauty.

Michelle Mabbott, who owns the business, said she was looking forward to relaunching the Beauty Barn.

"I have been here five years altogether with beauty side of the business," said Miss Mabbott. "Three years ago we took over the running of the gym as well but now we have transformed the whole place into the Beauty Barn.

"There will be three therapists, including myself, we have four treatment rooms and a relaxation room."

As part of the transformation the salon is now offering new packages including lunch and treatments using Thalgo, a product which draws on the ocean to develop its beauty treatments and skincare products.

"We have a range of new treatments, including a Polynesia spa ritual, a Thalgo algae wrap, full and half body tans and an organic facial," added Miss Mabbott. "Men are also welcome here now and we have a couples package as well as a number of treatment offers allowing people to spend a few hours here relaxing and enjoying a variety of treatments."

The Beauty Barn will be holding and open day on Saturday (March 8). For more information contact the salon by calling 01386 860088.
