TRAINS were delayed after barriers failed at a level crossing in Worcester.
Network Rail engineers were called after it was discovered three of the barriers at the crossing in Henwick Road, Worcester, were failing to lower at around 10.20am today. (Tuesday)
Trains were subsequently forced to travel through the crossing slowly while the barriers were operated manually.
Operators including London Midland and First Great Western reported delays to their services of around 20 minutes.
A spokesman from Network Rail said normal working resumed at the crossing at 1.25pm.
