AS the weather begins to improve thoughts have turned to the upcoming summer shows, including of the Badsey Flower Show.

The well-loved summer village show is set to take place on Saturday, July 26, and organisers are encouraging people who would like to have a stall at the event to get in touch.

Each year a key attraction at the event is the wide range of stalls, which ring the main show arena.

These include arts and craft stalls, stalls selling quality gift items, community information stalls, charity fundraising stalls, bric-a-brac and general goods stalls, and stalls selling cakes, preserves and other foodie treats.

Adrian Barradell, one of the organisers, said: "Because the show attracts around 2,000 people each year this is a great venue for both commercial organisations and charity and community groups to set up shop.

"We have a wonderful team of regular stall holders who come along and get involved year after year but this year we have space to accommodate some new people too."

A commercial stall costs £18 and charity or community stall is £8.
