MODELS will step back in time during a catwalk showcase of charity shop clothing in Evesham later this month.

The special fashion show will put charity stores on the must visit list for any shopper while raising money for an important county cause.

The retro inspired event will make much needed money for St Richard’s Hospice and celebrate the charity’s 30th anniversary by recalling the iconic trends of the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Power dressing, sports luxe and punk will all be represented on the catwalk alongside music of the era.

Strutting along the catwalk will be volunteer models from Evesham wearing clothes which have been donated to St Richard’s charity shops in the county.

St Richard’s fundraising assistant Sarah Patrick has organised the show, supported by friends and volunteers.

Miss Patrick, aged 22, said: "There will be a vintage theme to celebrate St Richard’s 30 years of care, but we will give the clothes a modern twist, making them stylish and wearable.

"So if you are looking for inspiration on how to wear great value clothes, then come along to the show. It will be a fab night."

Both the clothes and accessories featured on the catwalk will be up for sale after the show. There will also be a raffle taking place during the evening with fashion themed prizes.

Tickets for the event to be held at Evesham Town Hall on Friday, March 21, at 7.30pm, are £7.50 and are available from the St Richard’s Hospice Shop on Evesham High Street or from the hospice by calling 01905 763963.

The model's hair will be styled by Panache & Chi Salon and further clothes from Bella Due dress agency.
