YOUNGSTERS have been getting creative with mosaics in Evesham to make a welcoming sign for people visiting their school.
The children from Swan Lane First School welcomed Worcestershire artist Jackie Nash in February and worked as a group to produce a new welcome sign for the entrance hall of the school.
Joel Turvey, year 5 teacher, said: "The project started back in November, where children throughout the school voted on their favourite design. Each child had the opportunity to place one of the tiles into the mosaic.
"We are incredibly pleased with the results and the mosaic now hangs on the wall in our hallway."
