THERE will be plenty to do this year for lovers of the Malvern Hills now that the Conservators have released their programme of events for 2014.

And things kick off in fine style next Sunday, April 6, with a special dog walk led by qualified dog trainer and behaviourist Sue Harper. This is the ideal chance to pick up some top dog training tips and tricks whilst meeting other dog owners, although booking is essential.

The programme continues with a busy schedule right up until September, with events including reptile safaris, fungi forays and geology adventures.

Whether you want to brush up on your wildflower ID skills, or join a guided walk to hear the dawn chorus, get up close and personal with moths, or find out more about the grazing on the hills, there’s something for everyone.

Beck Baker, the Conservators' deputy conservation officer, said: "2013 was the first year that MHC ran a programme of public events and it was a great success.

"We’ve now got another load of events organised for 2014 with something for everyone, whatever your interest, for people of all ages. We hope to see you there."

All the walks and activities are run by local experts and supported by Conservators' staff.

A list can be found at malvernhills.org.uk or facebook.com/malvernhillsconservators, at the Conservators' office in Grange Road or the Tourist Information Centre in Church Street.
