WARNER'S Budgens’ flagship store in Moreton has been crowned Budgens Store of the Year for the second time.

The High Street store beat off competition from 180 other stores across the country to claim the title.

Judges praised the store’s exceptional customer service, consistently excellent standards and ongoing support of local producers.

The range of produce on offer also impressed them as well as its work with its local school and youth football club and the money it raises for local projects through the Warner’s Budgens Community Savings Scheme.

The store's ongoing commitment to the community was also praised after Moreton’s Post Office was relocated to the shop when it closed last March.

Owner Guy Warner said: “It’s a real honour to win this award, and for the second time. Our team work hard every day to maintain the store’s high standards and they really make our Moreton store what it is. "I’m glad that the judges recognise their dedication and commitment and I personally thank each and every one of our staff for their continued support.”
