A CROSS country fun ride for amateur horse riders is scheduled to go ahead next month in Wichenford, in aid of charity.
The 11 mile ride, which will not incorporate any roads, will see riders travel Bluebell woods and fields to raise money for Air Ambulance, St Richard's Hospice as well as other local charities, with tea and cakes on sale too.
The annual ride will start from 11am, in fields opposite Wichenford Dovecote and Court, with an expected 150 riders set to take part.
Those riding a horse must have horse passports and insurance and no dogs are allowed to join in the event.
Entry costs £16 for adults, while it is £!2 to enter children under 14 years-old.
The first ride is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, with another ride penned in for Monday, May 5.
There will also be further rides the following weekend, but for all events, participants can only take part by appointment only.
