THIS weekend there will be shandies and shanties in the Vale as the music event Sing in the Spring takes place.
The historical National Trust owned Fleece Inn at Bretforton will host the weekend of song, music workshops, ale and cider running from Friday (April 11) until Sunday (April 13).
There will be performances from Rosie Hood, The Teacups, and Gavin and Amy Davenport and organisers say the event is ideal for music lovers of all ages, including children and families.
Landlord Nigel Smith said: "The Fleece is the ideal venue for music events, combining atmosphere, history and charm. We know how to put on a great show, bring your family and friends: everyone is promised a fun and friendly weekend."
Tickets for the Sing in the Spring weekend cost £25 including camping or camper vans pitch and breakfasts, or £15 for the weekend (non camping) and individual concert tickets cost £9.
