A TEENAGE boy was taken to hospital after he was in a collision with a car in Evesham.
The 15-year-old had to be transferred to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch after being in the collision with the car in Northwich Road shortly before 4pm on Wednesday, April 2.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said they were called to reports of a pedestrian and a car being involved in an accident.
He is said to have suffered head abrasions and a leg injury and was given treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital.
The incident caused some discussion on Facebook as people took to the Evesham Spotted page on the social networking site to accuse others of standing by and watching the accident.
But both the mum and grandmother of the injured teenager responded confirming he was OK and thanking those that had helped at the scene.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
