Choir makes £1,841 donation

MEMBERS of Pershore Town Choir have been hitting the high notes over the last year after raising more than £1,800 for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

The choir made the £1,841 donation on April 9 to its chosen charity for 2013/14 after drumming up cash from concerts and other fundraisers.

Funds were given a further boost from the sale of a limited edition 2014 calendar made up from original paintings by choir members, John Hodgkins and Ric Hinchliffe .

Pershore Town Choir raise a significant amount of money for charity each year and is available for hire.
