SUPER slimmer Mandy Stinton, who dropped 24 stones in 24 months, has been offered a free six-month pass from Evesham Leisure Centre.
Mandy, aged 43, of Henry Street, was featured in the Journal last week after dropping to 14-and-a-half stone on the Cambridge Diet.
Now the svelte slimmer wants to reach her goal of 11-and-a-half stone and plans to go to the gym with her daughter to lose the final pounds.
"I have a couple of health checks this week but hopefully I will be given the all-clear to start exercising," she said.
"My daughter goes to Evesham Leisure Centre so I am looking forward to going with her."
Centre spokesman Sharon Keen said: "I read the report and by way of congratulations, I would like to offer her the pass to help her reach her target weight and support her in a fitness regime."
Mandy's weightloss is the biggest single amount lost by a person in the Cambridge Diet's history.
After reaching 38 stone, she was referred to a Cambridge counsellor by health professionals as her weight spiralled out of control after being diagnosed with cancer and depression.
She recalls: "It wasn't as if I had a few extra pounds to lose after a big Christmas lunch. I needed to lose more than 20stone and to be perfectly honest, I wasn't sure it was possible without some kind of surgery, which if course I couldn't undergo because of my weight."
