A NEW series of Dragonboat Training courses are set to start next Thursday (May 8) in Pershore giving people across the county the chance to get their feet wet and try a new sport.
It's taking place as part of a Get Wychavon Active initiative in the district and will run for six weeks on Thursday evenings with the Pershore Phoenix Dragonboat Club.
The club, which is also starting its season with its first race at Liverpool, welcomes anyone along to the meetings, which take place at Arden Sailing Club, near Pershore, or Pershore Town Football Club each Sunday morning or at Barbourne Scout Hut on a Wednesday evening.
