PERSHORE'S popular carnival is just around the corner and these are the faces of this year's royal court.
Six-year-old Corley Frost, and Lucy Jones, aged eight, were crowned king and queen of the carnival, which is set to take place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26.
While James Barnett, 5, and Amy Oakes, 6, were named prince and princess, at a judging event at the Pershore Football Club.
On hand to make the selection were Pershore Mayor Charles Tucker and his consort Liz Tucker and Gill McEvoy.
The group will play an important role in the carnival procession later this month, which will be following a heroes and villains theme and a colour theme of turquoise.
