AN eye-catching and unique production will be staged at its home venue before casting its net further afield.

Reaction Theatre Makers are taking their latest show FishHead to the Brighton Fringe Festival but first their second touring piece will get a send-off at Malvern Cube, Albert Road North, on Saturday, May 10.

he company are touring with four dancers from University of Worcester alongside a professional cast of three and Brighton will be their first appearance at a fringe festival.

Director Tiffany Hosking said: "We’re thrilled to be going to Brighton, and equally delighted to be showing FishHead in Malvern where all our work is created.

"We’re really happy with the show and have had some great feed-back since opening at the Wolverhampton Arena. Theatre professionals and theatre novices alike have loved FishHead, it’s a simple story with a great cast and a funky sound-track."

She added: "We scheduled the Cube performance for the weekend before the Brighton gigs as we wanted the support of our community before going further afield.

"The Cube is a really exciting venue, putting on some fantastic work, and the cafe/bar has just had a re-vamp, too. Do come and join us."

The production will also be staged at the Worcester Arts Workshop on Thursday, May 22 and Hellens Manor, Much Marcle, near Ledbury, on Thursday, May 29.

All performances start at 8pm.
