A MOTHER of two has realised her ambitions with support and a helping hand from her employers.
Charley Holland, who worked as an administrator at Farncombe Courses, had always wanted to work in a spa after completing her Advanced Nail Techniques course 12 years ago.
So when she heard that Farncombe's sister hotel, the Dormy House, was building a brand new spa, Miss Holland made her interest clear and her employers offered to fund her professional NVQ training in Beauty Therapy.
Today, thanks to that training and the immediate success of House Spa, her dream has come true and she now works at the spa, which has been given 5 Bubbles by the Good Spa Guide and is employing three extra staff to meet customer demand.
"I feel so lucky to have had this opportunity from Farncombe and Dormy House," said Miss Holland. "I love the courses programme, but for years I have been dreaming of a career which made the most of my creative side.
"I love to make people feel good about themselves. Hands and feet play a huge part in self-confidence and I just love the transformation that a treatment brings."
Until the end of May, anyone booking a Sweet Peach Hands Treatment Manicure, Stiletto Foot Protection Pedicure or Gelish for Glossy Nail Strength pays only £45, which includes a free glass of Veuve Clicquot and nibbles.
