AN Edwardian Manor House set in the heart of the Cotswolds is available to hire for the first time in more than 100 years.

Foxhill Manor, a grade II listed, eight bedroomed home that was built in 1909, is set on the Farncombe Estate, near Broadway, and will open to the public for the first time later this month.

The home is opening after a £2.2 million revamp and makes it the latest in a string of important investments in the last year for the Farncombe Estate.

It will now be available for private hire and comes with its own butler, ballroom, media room and grand staircase.

Chris Ward, commercial director of Farncombe Estate, said: "We felt there was a gap in the market for an intimate and traditional venue, reworked to a very high spec.

"A great deal of care has gone into ensuring the house remains true to its heritage while creating an exceptional space for events."

Guests must hire the whole house for the night or two nights at weekends.
