SUPER cars lined the streets of Broadway on Sunday as the Cotswold village celebrated its annual Italian weekend.

The Ferrari owners club brought cars worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, and one worth more than a million, for the weekend as the Italian market arrived on the village green.

Nigel Robinson, chairman of the Broadway Traders Association, said the weekend was a big hit.

"It was brilliant," he said. "It was absolutely fantastic. We had a Ferrari worth more than a million in front of the shop. It was a Ferrari Enzo and the interest in that was huge.

"The combination of the Italian market and the Ferraris made for a superb day. When the cars arrived in convoy and left in the same way the streets were lined with people watching them.

"We hope to get them back next year."
