Exhibition of student's art work at the Hive

AN exhibition of work by seven students from the university of Worcester is taking place until Thursday (May 8) this week at The Hive.

The art work, which follows the theme of Worcester, is displayed around the library and can be viewed for free during the opening hours.

Abigail Day, aged 21, who is one of the student artists exhibiting at the Hive, said: "I am a minimalist artist and a sculptor. The exhibition is quite cohesive and is about showcasing your work in a public space.

"None of the work is the same but it fits together. As an exhibition there is an underlying thread."

Hi was delighted to find out about this exhbition on theworcesternews.co.
uk and after heading down on my lunchbreak, really enjoyed all of the artists work on display: utilising facets and crannys of The Hive ( a space Worcester is very lucky to enjoy ) made for an interesting wander.
One thing, the exhibition ran from the 8th until the 15th of May, or in other words tomorrow. I do hope a few lucky members of the public will get to see it before it comes down.
