CELEBRITY and all round funny man Keith Lemon was spotted in Pershore in the last week as he filmed an episode for ITV's Through the Keyhole.

The comedian and TV host was seen by fans and passers at about 7pm on Thursday (May 8) in Broad Street appearing to use Barclays Bank and exiting a home belonging to Toyah Wilcox.

Rumour had it he was filming in and around the house for Through the Keyhole, and arrived at the singers home by boat, as her property backs onto the River Avon.

Hayley Tomkins, of Pershore, was walking through the town after picking up her son when she spotted Lemon, whose real name is Leigh Francis and is best known for presenting Celebrity Juice.

She said: "He was only out for a few minutes. He came out of her house and went to the cash point and was obviously filming at the cash point. He appeared from the back but stepped down from the front door so it appeared he was coming out of the house.

"Then he was doing a few photos and selfies with people and signing autographs."

The appearance of the presenter in Worcestershire comes just weeks after he featured the Worcester News on Celebrity Juice after a poll on the website revealed he was the man most women wanted to have an affair with.

And the star caused such a commotion he caused traffic to stop in the town.

Miss Tomkins added: "There was quite a big crowd around him and they had to hold their hands up to stop people clicking the photos while they were filming.

"There was quite a few people gathering and then everything came to a standstill. There was a back up along Broad Street, it was crazy.

"He seemed like a nice guy, but he scared me to death. I had my kids with me and I though what is he going to say. But he was great actually. He really played the part.

"He is one of those guys who is always in character, he is always Keith Lemon.

"I can't wait to find out when it's going to be aired."
