MORE than 70 schools will showcase their artistic skills in Worcester Cathedral.
The Visual Art Showcase is now in its 15th year and comes to the landmark venue from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, June 15 with a theme of Heroes and Inspiration.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to highlight the fantastic contribution made by arts organisations throughout the county who have provided both time and utilities to help the young artists produce their final pieces.
Steve Wilson, county arts officer from Worcestershire County Council, said: "To get this amount of participation from schools is a fantastic achievement and speaks volumes of the way in which arts are valued within the county.
"The showcase continues to produce a very high standard of art by local young people and year on year I am amazed by the end results."
Entry is free.
