A COMMEMORATION of readings took place at the Evesham Meeting House in memory of those who opposed war in World War One.
The Society of Friends at Evesham held an afternoon of readings and songs and carried out a special planting in their Peace Garden on Sunday (May 18) afternoon.
There are now historical displays in Evesham at the Riverside Shopping Centre and Almonry Museum and in Evesham last weekend two replica WW1 ambulances were on display.
One was provided by greatwartalks.co.uk and the other by David and Doreen Sedgwick of Nuneaton.
